The Neophonic Jazz Orchestra (NJO) is Madison, Wisconsin's premier 24-piece
large ensemble dedicated to the preservation of the bold, sophisticated music of bandleader Stan Kenton and composer Johnny Richards. Directed by Kenton alumnus Joel Kaye, NJO has provided a vintage flair to dances, stage shows, festivals, weddings and corporate events since 2010

The NJO features many of the region's finest jazz musicians including co-founder and drummer Rand Moore, vocalist Angela Babler and a who's who of the area's top large-group jazz instrumentalists.

The NJO song list offers a tapestry of some of the best composers in jazz and pop music including Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder, Duke Ellington, Seals & Crofts, John Williams, Bill Holman, Johnny Richards and Joel Kaye.

The NJO is now booking through 2017 for performing arts centers, colleges/universities, corporate events, summer concert series, clubs, festivals and residencies. An evening of the music of NJO offers your audience a time to be remembered.
